American Horror Story: Hotel' Spoilers and Character Description

So clearly, everyone has heard about American Horror Story's new season which is called Hotel and the lead character is Lady Gaga. Here are some of the hottest spoilers on the show that's airing Oct 7, next week.

The story is set in a hotel known as the Hotel Cortez.

  Located in Los Angeles, California. It's one of the main locations in the fifth season, Hotel.

Lady Gaga

  • Here's what AHS director and producer Ryan Murphy had to say on the lead character:

Ryan Murphy says Lady Gaga's character on American Horror Story: Hotel "will give you nightmares." The Emmy-winning writer couldn't stop gushing over the new star of his show during an interview with E! Online, saying that Gaga "the best, most fun, most joyful person." Apparently, Ryan also had some major spoilers on The Countess character in the first episode. He revealed that Gaga's first scene on the show is long, bloody, and epic.

"She's the best! I have to say, she's one of the great professional joys in my life," Murphy said. "She has been such a team player, the cast and crew is obsessed with her. Her performance is amazing. She's a great actress. She's the kind of actress that shows up two hours early. She's very, very committed."

  

  • Here's what some of the show's stars had to say about Lady Gaga during the set of AHS Hotel. 
Angela Bassett: "She's the nicest person. She is warm and gracious and funny. She makes everybody feel comfortable and she's comfortable with herself. So, no one is tripping, except for me. They said cut and I jumped and she said, 'That's the fastest anyone has jumped out of the bed with me!' and then I grabbed her and kissed her," Bassett said.

 Sarah Paulson: "I am just such a super fan," she told Deadline. "I need to tone it down. I need to start playing it really cool. We all know that everybody who likes somebody, that they have to play a little hard to get. I'm just like a dog in a window panting, waiting to be around her. It’s just really pathetic. It's really just because I'm in awe of her talent and I really think she's going to be an incredible addition to the show. I just think she's a perfect fit."

Katy Bathes:  "Was it Norma Desmond, Jean Harlow or Marilyn Monroe descending the staircase towards me in a shimmering silver gown? No, it was lady gaga!"

  •  The lead character Lady Gaga who happens to be The Countess would appear in 8 out of 13 episodes. 
  •  Lady Gaga's opening scene on American Horror Story: Hotel is her and Matt Bomer making out for 2 minutes to her favorite song.

  •  Ryan Murphy says Jessica Lange will return on American Horror Story: "She'll be back - she's not gone forever." 
  • American Horror Story: Hotel is connected to the show's first season and there's one episode that takes place in the Murder House.
  •  Matt is wearing a black glove and a sock on his junk; Gaga has a silver glove and shiny pasties. That's about it.
Here are the characters and the role they would be playing in the season.

  • Sarah Paulson as hypodermic Sally

Sally is a drug addict and thorn in the side of her landlord at the Hotel Cortez. She will stop at nothing in order to satisfy her needs. She is an adversary of Iris' and a mean and selfish person.

  • Kathy Bates as Iris

Iris is the manager of the Hotel Cortez. She lives there with her ailing son, Donovan. She has formed a friendship with hotel bartender, Liz Taylor and has difficulties with tenant, Hypodermic Sally.

  • Lady Gaga as Elizabeth "The Countess"

The Countess Elizabeth is the owner of the Hotel Cortez. She is a glamorous but deadly creature who sustains on a healthy diet of sex and blood. She kills with her very fashionable and very sharp chain mail glove.

  • Matt Bomer as Donovan

Donovan is The Countess lover of 20 years and gets rebuffed when he meets male model Tristan. He is interested in domesticity and is the son of Iris. 

  • Finn Wittrock as Tristan Duffy

Tristan has an addictive personality and is hypersexual.

  • Angela Bassett as Ramona Royale

Ramona teams up with Donovan to take revenge on The Countess, with whom she previously had a romantic relationship with. 

  • Evan Peters as James March 

Mr. March was the builder, architect and owner of the Hotel Cortez in the 1930's. 

  • Cheyenne Jackson as Will Drake

Will Drake is the father of Joaquin and a fashion designer who stays at Hotel Cortez for inspiration

  • Wes Bentley as Detective John Lowe

John Lowe is a detective investigating murders that have lead him to the mysterious Hotel Cortez. 

  • Chloë Sevigny as Alex Lowe

Alex Lowe is a mother, a doctor and the wife of detective John Lowe. She and her husband are dealing with a major loss in their family when they check in the Hotel Cortez.

  • Denis O'Hare as Liz Taylor

Liz Taylor is a bartender and entertainer who is obsessed with the actress Elizabeth Taylor.

  •  Naomi Campbell as Claudia

Claudia is a Vogue editor who ends up staying at Hotel Cortez. She's outlandish and thinks she's indestructible and that nothing can hurt her.

  • Max Greenfield as Gabriel 

Gabriel checks in as a guest in Hotel Cortez.
